In a new directive issued by oil companies to LPG agencies, they have been been asked to regularise gas connections of those using cylinders issued in others’ names, which until now was against the rule.

The new directive asks agencies to “regularise these connections” provided they get a consent in writing from the owner of the gas connection to allow its transfer to the person actually using the gas at present.
