To demonstrate the features of its recently launched Reliance Netconnect Broadband +,the Reliance Communications Limited (RCOM) held a meet of all the CEOs and the top brass of the industry on May 4 in the city.
Demonstrating the features and advantages of Netconnect Broadband + to the gathering,R D Sudhakaran head,marketing said,”India’s fastest Internet service,Netconnect Broadband + has a peak downlink speed of up to 3.1 Mbps and a separate uplink speed of up to 1.8 Mbps,offering 30% higher downlink rate in comparison to any other wireless broadband offering. This makes Netconnect Broadband + best suited for applications like video streaming,video surveillance,rich media content and superior Internet browsing.”

The product is launched in two Plug and Play USB device variants. The wireless broadband service will ride on Reliance Communication’s extensive pan-India,next generation,integrated,convergent digital network spanning over 175,000 km of fibre optic cable systems. This network is capable of supporting best-of-class services spanning the entire communication value chain.
The services of Netconnect Broadband + can be availed on paying a monthly rental starting from Rs 299/- .
As part of this launch,RCOM is embarking on the largest and most aggressive rollout of a broadband internet service. Netconnect Broadband + service is available in 35 cities with seamless handover to high speed 1x service covering 20,000 towns and 4.5 lakh villages as well as all major road and rail routes across the country.
