Question paper leaks hit diploma exam,MSBTE draws flak from students

The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) is under fire for two question paper leaks in quick succession during the ongoing diploma examinations.

In latest case of question paper leak,a mathematics question paper was out some hours before the examination scheduled on Saturday’s in Aurangabad area.

The examination has now been rescheduled on December 4.

In similar incident,question paper was leaked in Jalgaon few days ago,forcing hundreds of second year diploma students to reappear in the examination,which is also scheduled on December 4.

Speaking to Newsline,MSBTE director Pramod Naik said separate cases has been registered in both cases of leak.

“We have also issued orders to concerned office of joint-director to carry out probe in matter. There are high chances that some insiders might have involved in the crime,and we would take strict action them if anybody found guilty,” he said.

Meanwhile,diploma students have expressed anger over successive cases of question paper leak.

“It is difficult to prepare for examination again. It is adding to examination stress. The MSBTE higher-ups should take serious cognizance of incidents of question paper leak and ensure guilty are punished,” said an aggrieved student.
