Pune’s minimum temperature, which reached up to 11.7 degree Celsius last week, was 10.8 degree Celsius on Tuesday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts say that the temperature is likely to remain below 11 degree Celsius for the next two days and can dip up to 10 degree Celsius on Wednesday.

As per the forecasts, the sky is likely to be mainly clear for the next six days and there is a possibility of temperature rising up to 13 degree Celsius on November 11 and 12.
IMD official said that fall in the temperature is caused by the depression, which has weakened and has crossed Bangladesh. “This is causing change in the wind pattern. As an aftermath of depression, we are now experiencing North and North-Westerly winds that are cold and dry in nature. Though the temperature is likely to remain around 10 degree Celsius, it is not expected to go below 10 degrees,” said IMD official.
Last week, the depression was in the south-east of Vishakhapatnam from where it started moving towards North East followed by the Bangladesh Coast, and led to the fall in the night temperature in areas like Central Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa and Vidarbha region.
