PuneConnect,a joint event of Software Exporters Association of Pune (SEAP),TiE Pune,NASSCOM,MCCA,HIinjewadi Industries Association (HIA),PuneTech,Pune Open Coffee Club and Indo Americal Chamber of Commerce, allows startups to gain visibility at the national and global level.

Ashutosh Parasnis, president,SEAP,said though Pune stands second in terms of software exports and number of startups in the country, much work is required in scaling up the startups.

“Learning from our past year’s experience,we have invited speakers and delegates from the manufacturing sector this year to create an intersection, which can widen the collaboration within the ecosystem,”

he said.

The main hitches faced by companies wishing to upscale are lack of finances and proper market for products. By bringing together angle investors, successful entrepreneurs, and others, this event manages to start a proper ecosystem for growth of entrepreneurs,he added.
