Swapnil Shetty, Sonu Singh and Rahul Barkade won the dirt track races in their categories at the second edition of Freedom Mania organised by Kings Autoriders in association with NSG Group and PhySC Gym at NSG Knowledge City in Baner. More than 400 riders from Pune, Mumbai and Kolhapur participated in the event.
In the dirt track race, organised especially for Royal Enfield’s newly launched Himalayan, Shetty won the 350cc, Singh 500cc and Barkade the Himalayan category. The Maze chase event, which was added this year to test the balancing skills of the riders, was won by Rahul Rajpurohit, while Baljeet Singh Kochhar claimed the title in the Slow Bike Race.
Safety was the most important factor for riders, and thus, all the events saw participants coming in with riding gears, full face helmets and ankle length shoes, which also ensured an accident-free event.
The prizes were given away by Ganesh Gaikwad of NSG Group, Nilesh Shirke and Sohail Sam of PhySc Gym, Royal Enfield ASM Nitin Sharma, Kings Autoriders owner Swapnil Balwadkar. MLA Laxman Jagtap and Nanasaheb Gaikwad of NSG Group were also present on the occasion.
