Pune police question gangster Gajanan Marne after social media posts glorify gangsters
During a press conference recently, Commissioner of Pune City Police Amitesh Kumar had said a “surgical strike” would be carried out against persons posting content glorifying gangsters and criminals on social media.

(File Photo) In view of posts and reels glorifying gangsters and criminals on social media increasing, Pune city crime branch police questioned gangster Gajanan alias Gajya Marne on Saturday.
Crime branch officials warned Marne that he should not be involved in any criminal activities including spreading objectionable content on social media.

A few months before, gangsters and their accomplices were given strict warning by the Pune city police following social media posts glorifying them. But, police have now again observed reels and other content magnifying the criminals.
