The accused identified as Rayyan alias Faeem Shaikh (20), is a resident of Mitha Nagar, Kondhwa, and is a drug addict, said the police.
Pune City Police have arrested a man for stealing cell phones and two wheelers and recovered 32 cell phones, worth Rs 5.68 lakhs, from his possession.

Acting on a tip-off to constable Datta Sonawane of crime branch, a team led by senior inspector Shabbir Sayyad laid a trap and nabbed Shaikh at Bhavani Peth on September 9.
A press release issued on Monday stated that the bag, they seized from Shaikh, had 32 cell phones.
Probe showed that Shaikh had stolen the cell phones from different parts of the city in the last few months.
The police said he was using a stolen motorcycle to commit the crimes. The motorcycle has also been seized.
Investigation has also showed that Shaikh had been allegedly stealing motorcycles from residential buildings. After using them for thefts (of mobile phones), he used to keeping it back at the spot from where it was stolen.
The police said Shaikh allegedly snatched cell phones from pedestrians or stole them from houses.
