Neurologist booked for molesting patient at his clinic

The woman who was suffering from migraine had gone to the doctor’s clinic at Mukund Nagar near Swargate for a check-up.

Two women bouncers at the same club were assaulted by a group of men last week. The complainant in the case was a bouncer, a Rohtak resident.

The Pune City police have booked a neurologist for allegedly molesting a female patient at his clinic.

The woman lodged a complaint at the Swargate police station on Thursday. Based on her complaint, police booked the accused doctor under section 354 (a) (sexual harassment) of the IPC.

As per the FIR, the woman was suffering from migraine, for which she went to the doctor’s clinic at Mukund Nagar near Swargate for check-up. The woman alleged there was no female attendant in the clinic and that the accused molested her.

Police sub-inspector Kirti Chate, who is investigating the case, said no arrest has been made yet but probe is underway.
