A friendship day party that was organised at a club in Koregaon Park a day in advance, fearing the intervention from political parties, was disrupted twice by two groups of youths, who barged into the venue to check whether the students were underage.
Around 200 youth were given the entry for the pre-friendship day bash based on their college identity card.
At first,a group of 25 youths has barged in shortly after the event started early in the evening.
“Since the celebrations used to be shut forcibly on friendship day,we decided to organise it a day in advance. However,we had to face the same problem today also with some groups trying to intervene stating underage problems. We had admitted students from 21 years of age.” said the organiser of the event.
