Due to ongoing construction of a bridge at Chandni Chowk, the bus driver Ganesh Kale got confused as there was no barricade, leading to the accident. However, the driver did not sustain any injuries.
“Since there was no barricade at the construction site, the driver got confused and lost control over the brake. The driver did not provide us with information, but after seeing the videos of the accident, we inquired and confirmed the details,” he said.
Fortunately, there were no passengers or casualties, he said, adding that the accident department will further look into the matter.
