The Congress voted in favour of NCP candidate who will be the director for next two years. On the other hand, the BJP voted for MNS candidate while the Shiv Sena abstained from voting.
The general body also appointed a 13-member Name Committee that decides on giving names to civic properties, including roads and gardens.
