The the probe is on and commissioner will act after receiving the report.

After PCMC conceded that three buildings coming up in Pimprigaon were illegal,no action has been taken by the civic body even as a brisk construction activity is under way at the sites. Dr Pardeshi had said last week that he is looking into the issue but since then there has been no word from civic officials or the commissioners office.
2 FSI for constructions on upto 2 guntha land
The PCMC has come up with a new solution to stop the growth of illegal constructions across the town. The City Improvement Committee on Tuesday passed a resolution allowing 2 FSI for constructions on plot of land upto two guntha. Civic officals said citizens are unaware that they could construct structures on half guntha land. Since they are not aware, they do not seek permission from the civic body, which leads to illegal constructions. We have decided to allow 2 FSI on plot of land from half guntha to two gunthas. The proposal for increasing the FSI was moved by Sangvi corporator Prashant Shitole. The proposal was approved after the debate which will now be presented before the civic general body meeting.

The residents, who are set to lose their structures, have alleged that civic officials are carrying out wrong markings. The road was first widened in 1997 and 2002.
