No Pune bandh, only peaceful protest, says Maratha Kranti Morcha
Maratha Kranti Morcha coordinator Rajendra Kunjeer urged the Maratha community not to resort to violence and adopt restraint.
In Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad, the rumours of a bandh call have done the rounds since Monday evening. (File Image/Representational) The Maratha Kranti Morcha (MKM) on Tuesday denied that it has given a call for a Pune bandh and said that it has asked the community to hold agitations in a peaceful manner and not resort to any extreme steps.
“There are rumours of Pune bandh but no bandh call has been given by us. No one should resort to any bandh, everyone should adopt restraint,” Rajendra Kunjeer, MKM coordinator, told The Indian Express.
