After many youth leaders making it to the recently held Lok Sabha polls,the youth wing of the state Congress has demanded at least one seat in every district in the forthcoming assembly polls.
The youth Congress unit has started identifying probable candidates in each district. The list of the candidates capable of contesting the assembly polls will be sent to senior party leaders for consideration, said state Youth Congress leader Rohit Tilak. The youth wing leaders have been working at ground level and have a good network of party workers that would benefit in the assembly elections,he added. Meanwhile,the state youth Congress wing has decided to conduct rallies throughout the state to reach to the public.
