Manisha Sanghvi,head of administration department,Sancheti Hospital acknowledges the contribution of her mother,who stood by everyone in the family during all times
Mothers day is a good reminder for ourselves since we always take our mothers for granted. It is,in a way,great thing to have Mothers Day to thank our mother and to make her feel very special because she is the most special person in our lives with a very special bond and unconditional love. When I look back,I feel my mom is the most amazing and wonderful human being I have come across.
She believed that as parents there are only two things we can give Strong roots and wings to fly
My mother gave us very strong roots and brought us up single handedly,since my father was extremely busy and could not spend lot of time with us,even though he made up for it in many ways.

Hailing from a Marwari community,it was not easy for my mother to work outside when she got married 47 years ago. But she went to work with my father,when he took up to Dr Motwanis hospital in 1965. Before that she went to Mumbai with my father while he was doing his MS (ortho). She did her nursing course and worked full time and balanced her home front extremely well.
She taught us that the most important thing in life is to be a good human being. She also taught us the value of money at the same time she told us that money is not everything in life. We are four siblings,and all would agree that it is because of my mother that we all have our heads on our shoulders.
We were asked to take a bus or a bicycle,while we had a chauffer driven car at our disposal. As children,we were far more independent than our friends. I remember,for my dental treatment I had to go for extraction of my tooth,I was only 12 but she asked me to go alone. I dont think I have been so bold with my children.
Today,I look after the administration of Sancheti hospital,I have a huge team to assist me. In her times she had my uncle Madan Sancheti and my father as the core team. They looked after all the departments. Today,I realise how hard she worked to take Sancheti to greater heights along with my father.
Today,is the time with all my siblings to thank her for all that she has been to all of us. We are so blessed to have a mother like her and we cannot imagine,what we would do without her.
