A search is on for the finest cook in the city,and chef Ranveer Brar from Zee Khana Khazana will lead the hunt in Indian Kitchen Megastar. Organised by Inorbit Mall,it is going to be the first-of-its-kind cooking contest and winners will receive a Rs 20,000 gift card as well as a chance to feature on the show Ab har koi Chef on Zee Khana Khazana. The event will begin at 1 pm and continue till 6 pm on Sunday.

Take a culinary journey across 32 cities with the Pan-Indian food festival at Barbeque Nation,where barbequed savories from Amritsar to Lucknow to the Malabar coast will make an appearance at the lunch and dinner spreads of the live grill restaurant. Choose from signature dishes like Avadhs Nadroo Ke Shami Kebab,Shekhawati Bater from Rajasthan,Spicy Malabar Fish Curry from Kerala and Amritsari Deccani Saag,accompanied by cocktails like Rampur Ki Shaan,Patna Phataka and Frozen Kashmir. The festival is on for dinner only from Monday to Saturday; Sundays will cater to both lunch and dinner spreads,till October 27.

Fish ‘N’ Bait is hosting their inaugural Seafood and Wine festival with a three-week long celebration of coastal cuisine expertly served by chef Lakshmeesha Poojary. To complement the delicacies,the restaurant will pair each dish with wine. The festival’s specialties are shellfish preparations such as Thanjavur crab,Lobster Nizami and Prawn Jaituri. These recipes have their origin in the ethnic cuisine of Andhra Pradesh,Tamil Nadu,Kerala and West Bengal,among other places. The festival will continue till November 5,with lunch timings of 12 pm to 3 pm and dinner timings from 7.30 pm onwards.
