Radisson Resort and Spa,Alibaug set up by the city-based Sahil Group has bagged the coveted Best Spa treatment Award for its Mandara signature massage at the 2nd Pevonia Asia Spa India Annual Awards 2009 held at Hotel Leela Kempinski,Gurgaon recently.
The resort’s Mandara Spa was nominated in three categories at the awards – Best New Spa,Best Resort Spa and Best Spa Treatment. Amongst these the hotel bagged the award for the Best Spa Treatment. The award was presented to Vinay Phadnis,chairman and managing director of Sahil Group and Shalil Suvarna general manager,by the wife of the much acclaimed film director David Dhawan.
The Mandara Signature Massage technique combines five different massage styles of Japanese Shiatsu,Thai Massage,Hawaiian Lomi Lomi,Swedish and Balinese. AstraZeneca India announced the launch of Crestor® (rosuvastatin) 5,10,20 and 40 mg tablets today. Crestor is indicated for use in the treatment of dyslipidemia,atherosclerosis and primary hypercholesterolaemia. Dyslipidemia is a clinical condition characterised by an elevation of cholesterol and/or triglycerides in the bloodstream. Over 69 per cent of patients with coronary heart disease,even those currently on medications,remain above the targeted levels for cholesterol.
Atherosclerosis is the term used to describe the process when plaque builds up on the inside walls of the arteries and it hardens and narrows the arteries,which can eventually lead to cardiovascular disease – often causing chest pain (angina) heart attack,heart failure and stroke.
