Pune-based leading Innovative Infrastructure Solutions provider Synefra Engineering & Construction Ltd has bagged the Global Green Company of the Year 2010 award under the category of Global Green Corporate Social Responsibility Awards 2010 for its efforts and investment towards environment and sustainable development.
The award was presented by Green Energy Foundation (GEF) in association with UNESCO on the occasion of World Environment Day,held at MCCIA Trade Towers last week.
Pune Mayor MohanSingh Rajpal and Parsuramen,South Asia Director,UNESCO presented the award to J R Tanti,managing director,Synefra E&C in the presence of Pune Municipal Commissioner Mahesh Zagade and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Asheesh Sharma. The World Environment Day is an ideal occasion to receive an award for our contribution towards environment. It gives us pleasure that our work is appreciated and while sustainable development is a way of life at Synefra,such global recognitions reinforce our commitment towards the environment we impact.
Synefra has received two award ratings recently for their Suzlon One Earth Project Integrated Habitat Assessment,said a company release. The Green CSR Awards is to recognise the corporate world and their partners that have engaged in impactful CSR campaigns in and around Pune.
