The government-at-your-doorstep programme will be implemented in Maval and Mulshi talukas of Pune district where villagers will be provided with important documents in their respective areas without them having to visit the city.
The district administration will launch the programme at Shindewadi in Mulshi taluka and Atharva Mangal Karyalaya in Maval taluka on Thursday.
Various programmes including health check-ups,workshops on animal husbandary,agriculture and Panchayat Samitis will be organised as part of the programme, said district officials.
As many as 81,281 people in Maval taluka and 23,335 in Mulshi taluka will benefit from the programme. The programme will also cover 15 villages of Pirangut and 23 of Shivane. The programme,a part of the Samadhan Yojana government-at-your-doorstep programme implemented by Pune district,is likely be replicated across the state.
District Collectorate officials said the model has received a good response. Officials said Pune district had last year conducted 55 camps under the programme and issued 1.94 lakh certificates.
The success of the programme,also called Shasan Aapli Daari,led the revenue branch issue a GR on July 18 stating the programme will be replicated across the state, said an official.
Under the programme,officials coordinate with all government departments and reach out to beneficiaries to collect information to issue certificates. People from various villages will be given free health services and seeds for sowing.
The authorities will also receive on-the-spot applications for various government documents including income,domicile and senior citizen certificates. Officials said prior to the drive,a campaign was conducted in the villages.
