The revenue department of the Mulshi division conducted a government at your doorstep drive in Mulshi taluka.
As part of the drive,the department explained various government schemes to people from 16 villages in the area. Maval Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) Sanjay Patil said people were made beneficiaries in the schemes. The revenue department approved 81 beneficiaries for Sanjay Gandhi Yojana,Indira Gandhi Yojana and Shravan Bal Yojana.
During the drive,as many as 254 beneficiaries applied for ration cards,income generation certificates,adivasi certificates and caste certificates. As many as 878 people were given free health check-up while 200 beneficiaries were handed over free spectacles. Under the agriculture distribution scheme,1,976 farmers were given seeds.
As many as 80 beneficiaries were given passes for ST buses while nine persons were found suitable for the revenue department’s family scheme.
