His singing also had a feature of swara pradhan, which is a trademark of the Kirana gayaki, says A R Jadhav, secretary of the PVJMC. Jadhav feels that Pandit R V Jadhav was among the galaxy of the great Kirana artistes who never compromised on the pure singing style learnt under their mentor,Ustad Abdul Karim Khan. Pandit R V Jadhav inherited his qualities from his father,Proudh Gandharva Pandit Vishwanathbuwa Jadhav.
