DTE unveils admission plan

Students who had not registered for MT-CET can apply for engineering and technology degree courses for academic year 2013-14 in Maharashtra through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP),the State Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has clarified.

Students who had not registered for MT-CET can apply for engineering and technology degree courses for academic year 2013-14 in Maharashtra through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP),the State Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has clarified.

They can participate in CAP on the basis of their score in JEE Mains (Paper -1). They can submit application forms,attested copies of documents and the application fee demand draft to any Application Receipt Centres (ARC) in person by June 13,DTE has said.

The DTE on Friday started the admission process for engineering and technology degree courses for academic year 2013-2014 in autonomous colleges,state government aided colleges,university managed institutes,university departments and unaided colleges.

DTE offcials said the application forms are available on the website http://www.dte.org.in. Candidates are required to fill the online form,take a printout and submit it in person along with required documents for confirmation at ARC. Candidates should produce original documents for verification and collect receipt-cum-acknowledgment duly signed by the ARC Officer.

The merit list of eligible candidates for CAP will be displayed on website. Applications received by post at ARC/DTE office will be rejected and no communication in this regard will be entertained,officials said.
