PUNE-BASED Dr Parag Sancheti, who has been involved with The Indian Association of Sports Medicine (IASM) since 1996, has now taken over as the President of The Indian Association of Sports Medicine (IASM) from Dr. Mandeep Dhillon.

Sports medicine is evolving in the country with more and more consultants, counsellors, performance enhancers and educators providing scientific input to the elite and budding sportspersons, Dr Sancheti said at the 37th Annual Meeting of The Indian Association of Sports Medicine (IASM) at SRASSC Indoor Sports Arena, Sri Ramachandra University in Chennai.

Indian Association of Sports Medicine is a professional body, which encapsulates professionals from all the diverse fields of sport sciences.

The aim of The Indian Association of Sports Medicine (IASM) is to have a better interaction between different categories of sports scientists. This website is a step towards providing a medium for close interaction between different categories of sport scientists.
