Deshpande,Vaidya,Barve,Pande,Shankar among first Indira engg excellence awardees

The Indira College of Engineering and Management Parandwadi,Pune one of the institutes of Shree Chanakya Education Society has instituted its First Indira Engineering Excellence Awards. The announcement was made by chairperson Tarita Mehendale.

This year’s awardees include R R Deshpande,executive-director Kirloskar Oil Engines,Surendra Vaidya,vice-president and Business Head -PCS Division Godrej Boyce Mfg Co Ltd,Harsh Barve,vice chairman,Sunguard Technology Services (India), Alka Pande,vice president for Engineering and Quality assurance Bosch Chassis System India Limited,M S Shankar,vice president and COO Victor Gaskets India Ltd,Dr Sunil Nambiar,managing director IndiaSoft Technologies (P) Ltd,T Pradeep Kumar,chief executive officer,Suzlon Generators Pvt Ltd,Dhananjay Datar,chief executive officer,Impact Systems (P) Ltd,Prakash Ratnaparkhi,managing director,Electronica Machine Tool Ltd.,Shashank Patkar,chief executive officer 3d PLM Software Solution Pvt. Ltd. Executive director S G Tillu,director and principal R V Kulkarni of ICEM said the function will be held in two sessions between 10 am to 1.30 pm at Dhruva Auditorium,Indira Group of Institutes,Wakad on March 14 and 15. The Indira Group of Institutes has earlier felicitated dignitaries from management field for several years. It is for the first time,they are awarding dignitaries in the field of engineering,stated a release.

Col. Alok Asthana (Retd),Chief Coach,(Innovators & Leaders.) will deliver key note address. Shree Chanakya Education Society’s arita Mehandale and group director Chetan Wakalkar will also grace the function.
