A delegation from Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (Credai) Pune Metro met Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan last week in Mumbai and urged him to consider the submitted memorandum which lists issues pertaining to expanding Pune region.
The CM approved the draft on development rules outlined for the A,B,C class of municipal councils. The parking policy for Pune Municipal Corporation areas was also given its final approval. Chavan assured that notifications regarding these two approvals would be issued,stated a Credai press release.
The delegation comprised representatives of Credai Pune Metro,including president Hemant Naiknavre,former president Satish Magar (currently president Credai Maharashtra),other office bearers and managing committee members. Senior officers from the ministries of Housing,Environment,Urban Development,CM Secretariat and Director Town Planning also attended the meeting.
Naiknavre submitted the proposal of the Rental Housing Scheme which involves providing affordable housing to migrants with the aim of slum prevention.
