After BJP promised concession on tickets for women in public transport, the Congress on Thursday promised free travel for women in PMC-run buses in Pune while developing efficient feeder bus service for Pune Metro.
Unveiling the Congress manifesto titled ‘Pune First’ for PMC elections, former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said the Congress will ensure efficient and affordable public transport system while improving road infrastructure to resolve the serious traffic problem of city.
