A new group-messaging mobile application was launched by ClickLabs on Monday. The new application, named VoteChat, allows ideas and messages to be exchanged among friends and then voted on by the group. It aims to curate the chatting conversation and highlight the most important topics through voting. An added feature of the new application will be that it allows unlimited members to be part of a group.

The platform provided by the application is designed to quickly get feedback on potential ideas or plans in the group and then elect winners for the best idea, which get logged on group chatting history, thus becoming more prominent.

The voting mechanism can be applied to both niche or broad interest groups to decide on the most important topic in a discussion.

“This will enable many people chatting without cluttering the screen because the conversation always converges towards the ‘winning topic’ which gets logged and the conversation moves on”,said Felipe Pires,co-founder of the application.

According to ClickLabs,“till now there hasn’t been an application that allows such a smooth creation of an idea directory through voting. This will ensure a high dose of entertainment for users looking for interesting content and also for groups of friends trying to highlight the most important topics of their conversation”.

Currently launched for iOS,a mobile operating system by Apple Inc,it will also be available to Android users by the end of the month, and by the end of the year it will be available for Windows users.
