The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has set a deadline of May 20 for the distribution all property tax bills. It has also initiated a short messaging service (SMS) to keep the citizens informed about tax dues.
The decision was taken at the general body meeting on Thursday after the civic body office was flooded with complaints of delay in distribution of property tax bills. To avail of the benefits, the bill has to be paid before May 31.
