The Pune police have started a helpline for its children. According to the police, to man the law and order situation in the city, the police force works round the clock. While dealing with crime and security issues, the police personnel often cannot give enough time to their families. Due to this, there is a possibility of their children getting misled and taking up wrong path in life.
To provide proper guidance on career opportunities and counselling at the right age to their children, the city police has started a helpline: 020- 2541880. A programme in this regard has been organised for police’s children at Swargate police line on Friday evening. ACP C H Wakade, deputy commissioner P R Patil along with other senior officers and experts in career guidance will be present during this programme.
