CAT to be held across 40 cities from Oct 16 to Nov 11

The Common Admission Test (CAT),2013,a ticket to the prestigious 13 Indian Institute of Managements (IIMs) and other premium B-schools in the country,will be held from Wednesday (October 16) across 40 cities,including Pune. The test will be held between a window period lasting till November 11.

As many as 1.94 lakh aspirants,who have registered for the test,would compete for approximately 3,300 seats in 13 IIMs.

The pattern for the test will be the same as last year with two sections – Quantitative Ability /Data Interpretation and Verbal Ability/Logical Reasoning. Students will get 70 minutes each to attempt each section.

Competent authorities have appealed to candidates to arrive at the allocated test centres at least one-and-half hours before scheduled time to allow security checks,identity verification among other procedures. CAT test will begin at 10 am and 3.15 pm for morning and afternoon sessions,respectively.

“Please ensure you your carry your admit card and check date,time and centre carefully. Bring one original,valid and identifiable photo ID card. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates should bring a valid documents to prove their SC/ST eligibility,” said authorities.
