MindSpark,the annual technical festival of College of Engineering Pune will begin with a series of workshops at Nasik,Aurangabad,Pandharpur and Satara on September 14 and 15,as well as workshops in Pune on September 21 and 22. These workshops will explore subjects such as mobile-making and automobile dynamics. The festival itself is scheduled between September 27 and 29,with 50 mini-events designed to incorporate technical advances and develop practical technology for the masses.
The Department of Commerce of MC E Societys Abeda Inamdar Senior College recently inaugurated their commerce association to assist students in various activities. The event was chaired by Dr Shaila Bootwala,Vice-president of Abeda Inamdar Senior College. Shrirang Abhyankar,Director of ICAI,Pune Chapter,was the chief guest. Addressing students and faculty members,Abhyankar stressed on the need to develop reading habits among students and that students should work towards a better lifestyle.

A team comprising students and faculty members from NOVA South Eastern University,Florida,USA,will be coming to India for International Field Work,between September 17 and September 20. The field activity in Pune will be in coordination with KJEIs Trinity Institute Of Management and Research Pune,Kondhwa. It would involve visiting various manufacturing set ups and the college campus on September 19,followed by a business-cum-cultural program.
The English Literary Association of the Department of English,Nowrosjee Wadia College was inaugurated on September 4. Rahul Pungaliya,from the Department of English,Garware College,was the chief guest. Principal S L Bonde,vice-principals Venkataraghavan and Samina Boxwala,as well as HOD of English department Jayant Salvem were present at the inauguration.
