Ramee Group of Hotels marked its entry into the Pune hospitality sector with an investment of over Rs 100 crore after the launch of “Ramee Grand” — the group’s first 5-star boutique property - at Shivajinagar recently.

Ramee Group of Hotels marked its entry into the Pune hospitality sector with an investment of over Rs 100 crore after the launch of “Ramee Grand” — the group’s first 5-star boutique property – at Shivajinagar recently.

The plush hotel is spread over 20,000 sq ft with 88 rooms,4 food and beverage outlets and elaborate banqueting facilities,divided into 8 floors. Ramee Group currently has 33 properties around the Middle-East and different parts of India and has major expansion plans in the near future.

Tata AutoComp biz leaders centre

Tata AutoComp Systems Limited inaugurated its business leaders development centre here recently. Located at Baner,the development centre aims at enhancing the capabilities of its employees across all levels. RS Thakur,the managing director and Chief Executive Officer of Tata AutoComp Systems said,“Tata AutoComp has followed a practice of nurturing internal talent. We lay great emphasis on training to build the competencies of our people and thereby enhance the knowledge quotient of our company.”

The business leaders development centre is equipped with state-of-the-art classrooms as well as a furnished library. The Tata AutoComp has also recently tied-up with various educational institutes to run specialised courses for its employees. Some of these include BE degree for Diploma holders in partnership with BITS-Pilani as well as MBA programme with Symbiosis.

Tata firm conducts health check-up.

AS part of its philosophy of improving quality of life for the communities living in and around its area of operations,Tata Power recently organised general health check-up camps for villagers of Mulshi and Maval talukas.

Apart from providing free medical check-ups to all and distributing medicines free of cost,facility to identify and operate on cataract patients was also organised at the health camps.

It collaborated with MIMER Hospital at Talegaon for treating cataract patients. Specialized camps like gynecological and pediatric camps were also conducted,stated a press release.

AIDS awareness programmes were also conducted. 18 girls from these villages,who are being trained for Assistant Nursing will complete their course in a year’s time and will be thereafter employed with hospitals in Pune.

Honour for INIFD

Inter-national Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD),Kothrud has been awarded as one of the premium centres by INIFD Corporate team,Chandigarh. The selection of the premium centres are done on basis of quality of education,facilities,infrastructure and services provided.

The award was handed over by ‘Dabangg’ fame Star Designer Ashley Rebello,actress Mahek Chahal,in the presence of INIFD corporate director and his team,recently. INIFD corporate has tie-up with IMB (Instituto Moda Burgo,Milan). The budding designers of INIFD Kothrud will have privilege to be the part of Lakme Fashion Week for Gen-next,Implementation Team and INIFD Stall at the source,the press release stated.

Benecke-Kaliko AG enters Pune market
