To discuss the assessment patterns based on Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE),Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted a workshop on Monday at Lawrence School Sector 51.

As many as 112 teachers from various schools of Punjab,Haryana and Himachal Pradesh attended the workshop. While speaking on the occasion,Principal of Lawrence School Veena Malhotra said that the teachers should be well equipped with the necessary understanding so that they can provide a range of life skills to the students.

Resource persons from CBSE,Aruna Bhardwaj and Deepa Dogra,were co-ordinating innovative reforms such as the implementation of CCE,the monitoring and mentoring scheme,the strategic leadership development programme etc. Teaching methodology was widely discussed at the workshop.

According to the resource persons,the final assessment exams should be based on activities conducted in the classroom by the teacher to reduce stress amongst the students. Bhardwaj suggested that the teachers need to plan projects and activities such that the assessing the students for every task can be done easily.
