The international conference on “Ongoing research” organised by ASM Group of Institutes with the international association of INCON-IV,CETYS Mexico and Frankfurt School of Finance and Management Germany,was inaugurated by Arun Nigvekar,former chairman of the UGC in presence of Babasaheb Sangale,dean,faculty of commerce,University of Pune. Dr Nigvekar in his inaugural speech lauded the endeavour of the Audyogik Shikshan Mandal in organising the INCON-IV particularly at the present juncture when the global economic financial meltdown has engulfed the global economy.

The conference was conducted at the new full fledged campus of ASM Group of institutes. In the inaugural session,Sangale,Asha Pachpande, Sandeep Pachpande and Srinivas Lokre were present on the dais. The auditorium was packed with the audience who had research aptitude with the aim to achieve higher goals in life through ASM Group,and at same to be proud of being a strong link in the prosperity of India,stated a press release.

Asha Pachpande introduced chief guest Nigvekar. Sandeep Pachpande welcomed all the participants who have given strength to the international conference with active participation for paper presentation in different faculties of management. Presenting insights into management institutions,Nigvaker discussed in detail the challenges for India,to be discussed at different forums,being a recipient of global meltdown. He also emphasised on research as a embedded activity in management education. He explained a path to success through development of capabilities to create new knowledge through research,ability to interpret it and convert into tangible entity to cater the needs,which will satisfy the society and nation. In his view,this process will develop capacity in new managers to develop solutions for the 3rd and 4th generation challenges. Embed system of e-learning objects through experienced class room sessions is a key to produce best managers.

The inaugural session concluded with the vote of thanks presented by Dr Lokre. Prof S T Patil,Prof Mangesh Dande,Prof S P Marathe,Prof Limaye and Prof Lahir were key people in making this event a grand success,the release added.
