Darpan Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition of artifacts from August 2 to 7. The exhibition will feature jewellery,oil paintings,hand embroidery,amongst others. The artists contributing to this exhibition are Rashmi Wathare,Mohna Paranjpe,Padmaja Bhide and Maya Gogate. Bhide who is also an architect crerates mosaic art pieces based on garden flowers. Wathare,who is currently studying interior decoration,sources her materials from Raviwar Peth and Mumbai and creates the jewellery herself. Gogate and Paranjpe,both used to teach formerly. While Gogate is displaying 11 of her oil paintings which are based on natural sceneries,Paranjpe is exhibiting 13 of her paintings made with blunt blades. The exhibition will be inaugurated on August 1,between 6 pm to 8 pm. The gallery is located on Senapati Bapat Road.
