Comics Tanmay Bhatt and Gursimran Khamba — the frontmen of All Indian Bakchod (AIB) — have a plan in mind for their upcoming performance in the city. “We will be presenting an unreleased song from music composers Himesh Reshamiya and Anu Malik’s latest album,” says Bhatt with a chuckle, hinting at the spoofs they would be performing tonight.

AIB will also be exploring its music genius with band Tough on Tobacco (ToT),which will be performing alongside them. “With ToT,we will be doing an impromptu music scene. It will be roughly a half-hour set, during which we will interact with the audience, take requests and have them contribute to what’s being played on stage. And,we will be picking on the audience,” says Khamba, adding,“We will also do a signature routine called Bakchod Geetmala, where we pick old Bollywood songs and give them a new twist by interpreting them according to modern times.”

Apart from their musical explorations,AIB will also indulge in what they are known for best. “The set could be called ‘the best of AIB’. We will also be performing some material from our new act,The Sex Show,” says Khamba.

Speaking on the new act,Khamba says,“While it won’t be possible for us to do the entire act today,we will do a vignette from the show to chart the sexual journey of an Indian man. In the act,we trace and poke fun at things that have left an impression on Indian sexuality, right from Savita Bhabhi comics to deodorant ads laden with sexual innuendos.”

On being asked about the Internet rumour that they would be touring along with Russell Peters during his visit to India in October,Khamba says,“Well,we had invited him last year to one of our podcasts, where he had said he would be coming back to India the next year. Now that he is actually coming,it perhaps has many viewers confused. Although we would have liked to,we are not touring with Peters.”

All India Bakchod will perform today at High Spirits,8.30pm onwards
