Song of Pride
What began as a concept by music directors Suraj and Dhiraj and music programmer Vishal Kavishwar has now found its footing as a full-fledged song. Majha Maharashtra, sung by Sukhwinder Singh, will be released today on the occasion of Maharashtra Day. The duo say they wanted to show their love for the people of the state through the song. The lyrics are penned by Guru Thakur. Being new in the industry,it was very challenging to reach out to him as he was very busy. However,we did manage to get in touch and he obliged us by writing wonderful lyrics, says Suraj. About roping in Sukhwinder Singh,Kavishwar says that he was helped by Vijay Dayal. The video shoot of the song is on but the audio will be released at all radio stations across the state on May 1, says Dhiraj.
