The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced the results for HSC and SSC supplementary examinations online on Tuesday. The exam was cleared by 21.75 per cent HSC students and 17.85 per cent SSC students.
Of the total 1,68,422 students who appeared for the HSC exam,36,638 cleared the test. Of the total 2,14,469 students who took SSC examination,38,285 passed.
Among the nine divisions of the state board,Aurangabad division registered highest passing percentage in HSC examination (34.82%),while Konkan division recorded the lowest (16.31%). Pune division recorded 19.09 passing percentage.
In SSC examination,Nashik division registered highest passing percentage (29.48%) while Konkan lowest (11.45%). Pune division registered 20.6 passing percentage.
According to the statistics provided by the state board,the girl candidates fared better than boys in both HSC and SSC examinations.
HSC exam: Dates announced for online form submission <\b>
The MSBSHSE has announced dates for filling up online examination forms for students willing to appear in February-March,2014 HSC examination. Students can fill up their forms between November 27 and December 6. Thereafter,forms can be submitted till December 12 with late fees. Students have been asked to get in touch with their respective schools or colleges for filling up forms online. The heads of schools and colleges have been asked to log into http://www.mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in and http://www.mahahssboard.in for online form submission. SSC students,however,will have to fill up forms in the traditional format,as per earlier
