Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing a bumbling cop in his next film Chatur Singh Two Star. Supposedly inspired from the Pink Panther series, the movie will see Dutt making a fool of himself as he plays detective and tries to solve the biggest mystery that the department has ever had. The actor wears loads of disguises as he snoops around South Africa to solve a mystery.

“It’s a completely fun film and Sanjay’s disguises are great. We’re currently doing the post production and the film will be ready for release later this year,” Ajay Chandok, the director, tells us.

Cause celebre
Socialities and NGOs go hand in hand, and neither has credo without the other. Even at the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower on Monday,a few concerned citizens got together to celebrate the progress of the Light of Life Trust,an organisation that works for the betterment of the underprivileged. Gayatri and husband Atul Ruia hosted the evening while the lovely Simone Singh was the mistress of ceremonies.

“All our efforts have paid off. This was a way to encourage more sponsors and organisations to support us,” said Gayatri, after the presentation. Villy Doctor, founder of the LOLT was content and expressed her joy to Arti Surendranath and Nawaz Singhania. Anita Dongre and Sangita Sinh Kathiwada were seen in an animated conversation for long while party regulars Lata Patel,Gauri Pohoomul and Reena Wadhwa came for a short while. Harsh Goenka too was present. “Education is most important and LOLT is doing a brilliant job of empowering underprivileged children and adults,” said Naaz Zaveri.
