In the Mood to Talk

He seems to have a bagful of surprises at hand. After reviving his career as a character actor,Rishi Kapoor is now gearing up to tell the story of his life in an official biography. The veteran actor, who is known to be very guarded about his private life,is in talks with publishers for the project. There have been several offers before but Kapoor has finally decided to go ahead since he will turn 60 this year, which he feels is the right time to say it all in a book.

Muscle Mania

He had worked hard on his body for Force and the result showed on screen. But John Abraham is set to shed all of it for his role in Balaji Motion Pictures’ next,Shootout At Wadala. In the film, based on Mumbai Police’s first registered encounter, the actor plays the dreaded gangster Manya Surve. His role needs him to have a leaner look in the first half and gradually turn muscular as the film progresses. “Manya Surve has to look really lean in the first 20 minutes of the film, till he gets into jail and starts working out,” says Abraham, who has planned a new workout for the leaner look. We wonder why he won’t shoot the second-half first and then lose the muscle.
