Dippy’s New Moves

Even as the Race 2 controversy refuses to die down,Deepika Padukone is dancing to a new tune these days. This time,it’s for choreographer Ganesh Hegde’s new music video. Padukone will star in the video of the song Main Hoon Bolydude Ganeshan from Hegde’s album Let’s Party. In the song,Padukone sports a ’70s retro look similar to the one she had in her debut film Om Shanti Om and she will be seen doing some typical retro moves along with Hegde.

God of All Things

In the big screen adaptation of the critically-acclaimed Gujarati play Kanji Virrudh Kanji,Akshay Kumar will play God. And while at it,he will don various avatars too. Though Kumar’s character in the film is called Krishna, his look will not be restricted to any one religion. In some scenes,he will wear dhotis and in others,he will be seen in kurta pyjamas and sherwani. The inaugural scene will see him riding a motorcycle clad in biking gear. Clearly, this God wants to have fun!

Love stories continue to be a favourite on Indian TV and Sajda: Tere Pyar Mein, the latest show on Star Plus, only reiterates this. Punjab Diary

THIS week,Brij Bhakta, the stand-up comedian from America and the hand-picked host of the show Freaky Traveller on Fox Traveller, will be travelling to Punjab to learn all about kabootarbazi from a renowned bird trainer and breeder in Jalandhar.
