Video: Owner of roadside Mumbai eatery throws hot oil on customer

In the video, the owner of the food stall in red t-shirt can be seen filling a water jug with hot oil not once but thrice from a wok and chasing the man before hurling it at him.

A shocking video showing the owner of a roadside eatery in Thane district’s Ulhasnagar area throwing hot oil on a customer has surfaced on social media on Thursday. According to news agency ANI, two persons have been arrested in connection with the incident which reportedly took place after the customer complained about the food served to him.

In the video, the owner of the food stall in red t-shirt can be seen filling a water jug with hot oil not once but thrice from a wok(kadhai) and chasing the man before hurling it at him. However, in the beginning of the  the CCTV footage video, a group of men can be seen throwing something at the eatery owner, reacting to which he attacked with hot oil. While the owner was seen chasing the customer with hot oil, other staffs of the eatery were present there watching the incident happen.
