A 24-year-old UK national was allegedly molested by a salesman near the Lokhandwala Complex in Andheri on Monday evening. The suspect,Gaurav Gupta (30),was arrested after a chase.
According to Oshiwara police,the victim has been living with her two friends at a flat in Lokhandwala. The woman is pursuing a course at Mumbai University and has been in the city for the past year.
Officers said that the incident occurred when the woman and her friends had come to Shreeji restaurant to collect their dinner parcel.
The police said the woman got off an autorickshaw while her friends remained seated. As the woman was picking up the parcel at the restaurant,Gupta approached her and touched her inappropriately,police said.

As the accused started fleeing,the woman raised an alarm, said N Pathan,senior inspector.
On hearing her screams,the locals chased Gupta but could not catch up with him. Three beat constables saw the chaos and went over to investigate. Two constables set out on the direction that Gupta had fled and nabbed him.
