Two workers suffered 90 per cent burns when hot oil gushed out from a pipe at a private industrial unit in Tarapur Friday morning. According to Boisar police,the incident occurred at the Orient Press,a printing and packaging factory. The incident occurred when the pipeline leak was being repaired. There is a boiler next to it to control the temperature of the oil in pipeline,which is about 200° C. The valve was not closed properly and the hot oil came gushing out, said Assistant Inspector Rajesh Gawli,Boisar police station. The three workers,Pradeep Singh (28),Avinash Warke (50) and Vipul Gharat (20),were rushed to a local hospital in Tarapur and later shifted to Masina Hospital in Mumbai.
