Windmill Festival returns with its seventh edition
Windmill Festival, the two-day extravaganza centred especially around children, returns with its seventh edition. Aimed at encouraging children to step outdoors, it offers over 50 unique workshops, including storytelling, fluid art, colourful pottery, kickboxing, Jembe session, martial arts, windmill making, dance, as well as science and robotics, thoughtfully curated for age groups from 0 to 14 years old. There are also experiences like a human roller coaster, trackless train, air hockey, Ferris wheel ride, mini train ride and boating.

An exhibition featuring photographs by Nirvair Singh Rai
Mumbai-based freelance photographer and filmmaker Nirvair Singh Rai’s captivating portrayal of Mumbai’s essence takes the shape of a solo exhibition, Reclaimed Spaces. Exploring the city through his lens, Rai puts the spotlight on places like Bandstand and Marine Drive, which truly showcase the city’s myriad realms and how people find solace amidst the pressures of urban life. Through this exhibition, Rai endeavours to reclaim space for his subjects, allowing them the freedom and dignity to exist within Mumbai city’s vibrant tapestry.

Foo launches an outpost in Thane
Pan-Asian restaurant Foo has launched its outpost in Thane, bringing its crowd favourites Togarashi Black Rice Maki, Peruvian Lobster Roll, Sriracha Chicken Dumpling and La Yu Ban Mein Noodles among many other old and new options in food and beverages. Addressing the growing demand for vegan options, they have dishes like Not a Chicken in Chilli Hot Bean, Forest Mushroom Cantonese Style, Crispy Tofu with Sweet Chilli sauce and Plant Protein Dumplings.

A tribute to Baba Bulleh Shah
Sufi Kathak Centre, Ganga Jamuna Culture Foundation, Royal Opera House and Avid Learning present O’ Bullayah! A Tribute in Dance to The Saint Who Danced. Conceived and conceptualised by Manjari Chaturvedi, the concert seeks to bridge the gap between marginal artists and the wider society through a blend of evocative dance, music, and qawwali, fostering a sense of unity in diversity by blending different religions and cultural influences.

Tricolour-themed menu at Someplace Else and Rajdhani
On Republic Day, Someplace Else and Khandani Rajdhani are presenting a curated tricolour menu. While the BKC-based diner features an array of dishes, including sushi, paneer tikka, pizza and fruit parfait, the vegetarian thali restaurant presents tiranga dhokla, fruit lassi, pulav and khandvi.
