Technical glitch hits CR services

Mumbai: Central Railway services were hit for the second day on Wednesday after a pantograph of a Badlapur CST local broke at Badlapur station. Locals were stalled from 11.47 am to 12.50 pm. While eight services were cancelled,several were delayed by at least 15 minutes.

Mysterious death of fish in Dahisar pond

Mumbai: The BMC Wednesday took water samples from a private pond in Dahisar,where several dead fish were found floating. Locals claim that the fish “mysteriously died” in the past two days,and that the water felt oily to touch. The samples will be sent to the civic body’s laboratory in Dadar for testing,said an official.
