Ladki Bahin Yojana eKYC Online: Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana (also called Ladki Bahin Yojana) is a welfare scheme started by the Maharashtra government to support women financially. Every eligible woman receives Rs1,500 per month directly into her bank account.

Why eKYC is important

The government has made Aadhaar-based e-KYC mandatory so that:

  • Only the genuine and eligible beneficiaries receive the monthly benefit
  • Payments go to the correct Aadhaar-linked bank account
  • Fraud, duplicate entries and fake beneficiaries are prevented
  • The government can process direct-benefit transfer payments smoothly every month

If e-KYC is not completed, payments may stop, even if you were previously receiving funds.

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal

First, open your browser and go to the official Ladki Bahin website: https://ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in

Step 2: Complete Your e-KYC Online

    1. On the homepage, click ‘e-KYC’
    2. Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha
    3. Tick the consent box
    4. Click ‘Send OTP’
    5. Enter the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile
  • Your e-KYC status will update to ‘Completed’

The Maharashtra government has extended the e-KYC deadline, and failure to do it may pause future payments.

Step 3: Create an Account / Login

  • New users can sign up using their name, mobile, Aadhaar and bank details
  • Existing users can log in via “Applicant Login”

Make sure all bank details match your Aadhaar information.

Step 4: Check Your Payment Status

  1. After login, open “Applications Made Earlier”
  2. Select your approved application
  3. Click “Payment” to view:
    • Instalment amount
    • Payment date
    • Bank credited
    • Status (Paid / Pending)

This helps you confirm if your Rs 1,500 has been credited every month.

Rs 3,000 may be credited in December

There is a major update regarding Maharashtra’s ambitious Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. As per reports, the government may credit Rs 3,000 at once into beneficiaries’ bank accounts in December instead of the usual Rs 1,500.
