Sonam Kapoor’s diamond bracelet goes missing from Juhu home, files complaint

“The bracelet was worth approximately Rs 5 lakh,” the police said.

Actor Sonam Kapoor filed a complaint with the Juhu police after her diamond bracelet went missing from her bungalow. The Juhu police have registered a theft case against unknown person.

According to the Juhu police officers, Sonam approached them on February 5 to lodge a complaint of theft under Section 380 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). In her complaint to the police, Sonam said on February 4, she wore the bracelet to a party in Bandra and returned late in the night. “She had then kept the bracelet in the drawer of her room at 2 am, but the next morning she could not find it. The bracelet was worth approximately Rs 5 lakh,” the police said.

The Juhu police have began investigations by questioning the domestic helps at the actor’s house, which is located on the 7th Road of the Vile Parle Scheme in Juhu. The police found that none of the help left the house on the night of February 4. The officers added that the diamond set that she wore was to be returned to a showroom the next day, but the bracelet from the set was missing.
