In 2019, as she left school and headed towards her house, a 15-year-old girl in Mumbai saw a man following her. He came closer and asked to buy a pen. She said she did not want one and walked home quickly. The next day, the man approached her again, asking her to buy a book this time. The girl refused again and ran home. She informed her mother. For the next two days, the girl’s mother accompanied her to school, but they could not find the man.

A few days later, the girl saw the man again while returning from school alone. This time, he followed her home. She rushed home and told her mother, but when they returned to look for him, they could not find him. The same evening, the girl saw the man again in her locality and informed her mother. They finally traced the man and approached the police.
